I hate Halloween, it’s a stupid tradition that should not exist.

But Pokémon Go has made it pretty awesome. My buddy Growlieth got 8 candies today. And I added these to my Pokedex.

My new top 12.

I caught another Ganger but it’s move set isn’t great.

Well I’m pretty sure the special Halloween stuff only happens at night. Also sometimes it’s good to. Or have a screen in front of you so I’d say nothing lost.

Finally, someone else is still playing. I was so excited to see this. Currently level 24. I opened the app and noticed this right away. I caught 8 drowzee in ten minutes. I also noticed that you now earn 4 times the candy while you walk your buddy. You earn twice the candy when you catch pokemon. I see you think this is only at night, wrongo, it’s now until November 1. I run about 4 miles a night so this is exciting.

My teenager thinks this is the lamest thing ever... because I run and play pokemon and all that jazz. She refused to play because I do, lol.

I actually find it sightly annoying you earn stuff while running because the app only stays active for a minute or so at a time. I run with it just to hatch eggs and get the candies so I flick it from time to time but try not to look. It also sometimes like to try to over ride my music.

You must live in a city. Normally I hit about 3 guys in a mile, and the nearest gym is cumbersome to run to (have to cross a busy road, etc).

I saw a Gastly on sightings but never found it. So much for the increased spawn.

I also used the increased candy system to evolve my Exeggcute. Ended up getting an Exeggutor with the worst move set in history.

Not terrible at all. It’s dead quiet on my street up on the top of a hill in suburbia. I’m not a fan. When kid graduates I’m going towards the city.

I put a lot of work into catching Gastlys and finally got a gengar about a month ago. It was the only one I’d ever seen in a gym and I was so proud. Pogo why do you spit in my face

I haven’t even turned the app on in probably 2 months or more. I got tired of the same old 3 pokemon and the tracker incorrectly calculating steps. I walked 25 miles and my 10 mile egg still has 9 miles to go.

That’s why I go into my phone’s setting and set the screen timeout to 30 minutes. I usually manage to check it before 30 minutes elapse and so it never stops logging distance traveled.

I play with my 7 year old sometimes but he doesn’t really get how it works.

I just got to level 24 last night. I assumed the Halloween stuff only happened at “night” because the changes happened at 7pm last night. And it’s “night” in the game from 7pm-7am.
